I'm always amazed at the sheer number of people willing to see any announcement at all as more proof as to how video games are turning to shit. Personally, I'm expecting this to turn out pretty good. I think it wouldn't sell for shit, and they wouldn't make it anyway. People want something different on consoles than they want on DS, and that's why DS provides a valuable niche. 2D is acceptable to consumers on DS. It isn't on PS3.

Speaking harshly about these kind of announcements is not an admission of ignorance by the disgruntled --I'm quite sure Yoshi, dog$, Joust, and the rest fully understand the economics of the situation, as do I.

And as for Sonic RPG, I'm actually morbidly curious. I'd say its chances of being good are pretty high, considering Bioware. It will just be an utterly surreal, ridiculous, stupid as shit good game.

And I'll probably still buy it.
