Thread: TNL Movie Club - Post Apocalyptic Black Comedy Double-Feature

  1. I like A Boy and His Dog. Don't like Delicatessen very much.

    Time for a change

  3. I just received these from blockbuster and watched them both. Out of the two I liked Deli better. I loved the intro credits where everyones name was on a prop related to what their profession was. It was a nice touch.

  4. I liked A Boy and His Dog. Blood was awesome, he's like the coolest dog ever. Get's really friggin weird but the ending was great.

  5. Just finished ABAHD, best ending ever. fuck that bitch

Started off really slow and I almost lost interest. The beginning reminds me of the way the Hobbit/LOTR animated movies are presented (music/narrator), this doesnt transfer too well to live action, I guess that was the 70s for you.

Also, the underground could have been so much better lol... semen pumps, clowns and robot clowns too, but Ellsion is a crazy mofo so I understand. Prob will watch it again to catch the nuances.

Now I just have to find Delicatessin for under 20 bucks. Ebay keeps raping on the price of this one, and the local used movie store only has a new copy for full retail
