The first Sega Rally I played was Sega Rally 2 DC and though the graphics have been surpassed ten times over, the control of this game keeps me coming back. The Rivera tracks frankly suck, they look tacky with the fog and the framerate is most noticable here.
Which reminds me, I believe Smilebit handled Sega Rally 2 DC, as I recall they did a Win CE with it. Sega is smart, no? Farm out your big launch title to a third party to develop and then only have them program a one player mode. Then take your big racing title and do a quickie computer port to console. Sega, how I hate and love you. *-neo
