My statement that the people who voted for bush were not dumb is wrong. I stand by the fact that the first election they were not, but the second Bush should not have been voted for. Although i do hate John Kerry. No one should have been voted for. Both sucked ass.

When 9/11 happened America called out for blood. You know that. Everyone had a new fangled hate for Muslims and the middle east. Bush played into the interests of the people and used it to boost his personal agenda.

I would not compare a coke snorting whore to a Soldier but again IMO; there are no heroes in Modern War.(changing my view because American Revolution and Civil War i believe had heroes.)

There is no legitimate purpose served by banning gay marriage or homosexual marriage. Restricting it in this way can only be justified by bigotry on one level or another. Don't homosexual families deserve the same rights and protections as straight ones? Or are the lesser, second class citizens?

This is essentially why I have no one to vote for. It's upsetting to have to agree with Biff, but I don't relate to the right or the left either. To me it's not really about liberals or conservatives, it's about class. The left isn't for the working class anymore than the right are - and that's what affects me more than anything.

President Wilson was actually opposed to what Britain did with Iraq (his big thing was national destiny) as well as how severely the Treaty of Versailles punished the Germans for WWI, which is why he didn't join the League of Nations.

Wilson wasn't responsible for the U.S. not joining the League of Nations; it was the Senate that voted against it. The League was actually one of Wilson's Fourteen Points, and he was outraged when Congress shot it down.
