My girlfriend told me about the news story originally posted. I immediately disregard everything she says that begins with "I heard..." as it usually means she heard it from one of the idiots she works with or the brain dead neighbors she talks to. That, and she tends to yammer on so, so that's reason enough to ignore her.

I don't know what it's like elsewhere, but in southern ontario a lot of pit bulls come from puppy mills and are inbred as fuck. Maybe that's the problem, and it has nothing to do with the breed itself, but in any case, pit bulls are disproportionately represented when it comes to dog attacks.

Pretty sure pit bulls are banned in Ontario now. And they can stay that way. Fuck em. I'll be as racist as I want to be when it comes to dogs.
