Finally got Senko no Ronde in the mail so I'm up for that if anyone wants to play. I'll probably be really bad, though.
Edit: I am so confused with this game! How do you people with arcade sticks set your buttons?
GGs to Contra in Senko.
Man, if I were you I would be pissed at me. You had better setups, combos, and way better shielding and you're facing this spaz just spamming dash cancels and random shit. That Changpo v. Ernula match was really bad... you get up by about 50 with 50 to go and I just go into Final BOSS and there's nothing you can do about it. Can Ernula dodge that at all? Ugh.
Changpo is too cheap, she must be bound^H^H^H^Hanned.

You don't want to do that though, as the arcade controls are absurdly overloaded, and you actually lose a couple of very important techniques (non-neutral dash canceling and manual aiming).
At the very least, you probably should play with five buttons: primary, secondary, dash, shield, and overdrive (although I've never seen overdrive used well, but what do I know).
Everything you need to know about Senko no Ronde, including how to setup your arcade stick.

Here's the Senko no Ronde SP arcade stick button layout in case other people has an arcade stick and didn't want to look through that huge thread Cow posted. Actually saw it on a different site, but noticed that thread had it too. I assume the action button is Action (New).

I had to change my gamertag again, I guess the computer was paying attention after all. my new tag is "Murder Material".
Good games, Contra. That was some fun stuff. Didn't think I did too bad. I was expecting to not get any wins at all in. I also need to use the barrier more instead of running head first into all your shots. I always forget about it.![]()
I finally got my internet back. hit Toastyohs up for some senko matches.
I keep my heat close like robocop
Added Virtua Fighter 5 and Naruto: Rise of a Ninja to the list.
My friend brought both over today and I was a bit surprised at Naruto. It was actually pretty decent. Fans of the anime will probably like it. I need to get me my own copy of VF5 soon too.
