They are looking into altering input lag that people have been complaining about, this is now much different from before when they said they wouldnt touch it, so they are listening. On top of that, a list of fixes coming soon.
Boost
we've identified and fixed the bug to do with the boost medal not being awarded. It will go into a patch we are working on at present, but there is a workaround in the mean time to get it. Simply ensure that you are the Game Creator rather than client and you'll be awarded it.
Network Errors/Honor Ranks
We are also looking at fixing a good bunch of the network errors and are looking into the complaints about the Honor Ranks as well as a couple of other bits and pieces. We'll provide a list of fixes when we are close to releasing the patch.
Bots
We're working on a permanent solution for the bots stat padding and have some internal solutions that we're going to work on implementing. We'll let you know what those are when we've got the patch together and the solution implemented.
We will NOT be wiping ALL stats and padders will be looked at individually by the moderators.
www.kz.com
www.killzone.com is being sorted out today to deal with the massive traffic its been facing and hope to have some long-term solutions in place shortly.
The stats are currently empty on the site and will be repopulated today.
Controller Issues
We have not stopped looking into the complaints and will see what we can do about it. Any possible changes will have to be carefully implemented and tested before being deployed though.
Charge disarming
We have identified the issue where sometimes the C4 charge in Search and Destroy will not disarm. Will be fixed with the next update.
Shotgun Aim Assist
Investigating the problem and will patch it up.
Clan Games
Sometimes the clan that does not turn up for a match is awarded the win under specific circumstances. Will be patched ASAP.
Battle Replay for Map 8 - Corinth Crossing
The BR on www.killzone.com is not quite right and will be fixed soon.
Ignore list
Was found not to be functioning correctly. Will be fixed in the next patch.
Crashes
Crash when using Saboteur disguise in certain situations. Will be fixed in the next patch.
Infrequent crash when trying to start a game with an empty game name. Will be fixed soon.
Medic/Assassination
There is an issue with the Assassination target HUD icon displaying when playing as a Medic. Investigating and will be fixed.

I know the controls were designed this way, but it is really nice to see a developer giving more options after people complained. I'd be happy with Resistance 2 aiming.
Korly-"Everyone here is an asshole, SURPRISE!"
Fuck, I played through the demo 5 times straight hoping the aiming frustration would decline. It did the opposite. I got more frustrated with it the more I played.
I like the other aspects of the game. I'll keep an eye on the patch situation to see if they alter it. If they do, I'll pick it up.

I can't even fathom playing Resistance 1 or 2 after playing Killzone 1 and 2. The controls in all the other console FPS (excluding something like Metroid Prime 3) I've played suck as far as I'm concerned. They feel like you're just aiming a camera and clicking.
Here's a tip about Killzone 2: holding down the fire button/gun trigger and letting that sucker just spit out bullets like a hailstorm will lose you a noticeable amount of accuracy. Try firing in bursts instead.
Have you guys adjusted the sensitivity at all to see if you can reach a more personally acceptable feel?
I hope this "lag" patch doesn't change the feel much, if at all. Or at least make the activation of the patch optional, if that can be done.
Good to hear. It sounds like most complaints center around the game not controlling like a CoD or Resistance 2 when it never was going to. After playing the first Killzone, what did people expect the game to control like? CoD or Resistance 2, I guess.

Yes, I have. That rule goes for every modern FPS.
I actually got the best results by turning the sensitivity down significantly, like one or two clicks on. At least then, I knew I had to jam the stick home to get to my target. I'd get raped trying to play this way in MP.
I'm fine with that. Give the people the option.
I played the first Killzone and enjoyed it. I don't remember the controls being this asstastic.

I didn't mean for that to sound condescending. I meant that you should play this more as a tactical shooter, as it should be played, though it is more forgiving than the first in this regard. You cannot play this like most FP shooters, which is why the comparisons to Resistance and CoD are dead giveaways that you guys may not be playing this correctly.
I'd say this controls even better than the first. I have fallen in love with the cover/pop-out and pop system in this game. This is like a FPS version of Gears with a heavier feel. You even have a roadie run in here (as did the first).I played the first Killzone and enjoyed it. I don't remember the controls being this asstastic.
