I never said it was going to be bad. In fact I'm looking forward to it with reserved enthusiasm. All I'm saying is calling it GOTY given track record and how little we've really seen is stupid.
It does matter because I, believe it or not, enjoyed aspects of the first one. Hell I even wrote back in the days that I enjoyed the SP campaign more than I did Halo 2's. I probably wouldn't think so if I played them both today though. And I would hardly call it a series this being pt:2 but if we include Liberation then I don't necessarily consider it bad.
And yea it's not like I've seen the entire game, but atleast I have seen something like ten minutes of gameplay footage. While it seems that you haven't even seen the trailer.

i fully expect another "it doesnt look like the original trailer so this game sucks" argument to downplay how good it looks. Gameplay plz follow.

This game will put Microsoft out of business, mark my words.
Actually, I think it'll be a very pretty shooter with great art direction and atmosphere but very average gameplay. You know, like the first one.

the whole argument that the ps3 games take up massive amounts of data is wearing thin. they did it with Heavenly Sword's music and now with this. "This level takes up 2 gigbytes of data". great. Halo 3 dates up a dvd-9 and looks as good as it does. give me more than 4 enemies on screen at once (that i can kill) and good ai and i will be happy.
