Sounds almost like his Federal bill is re-enforcing state's rights. Also notice the phrasing "has the authority", but is not mandated. This is such a heated issue, and there are obviously two sides. So WHY would anyone want the decision made at a Federal level? Why have one decision rule over a whole country with differing and diverse opinions?

Because one of the purposes of the federal government is to protect the few sane people in the ass-backwards redneck parts of the country against tyranny of the majority (see: the establisment clause... oh wait, that's another thing Paul doesn't understand).

ABC, CBS, and NBC are only slightly less conservative than FOX. CNN is less so, but is actually trying to be more like FOX News (see fascist dipshit Glenn Beck and frothing racist Lou Dobbs). MSNBC is 90% conservatives and then Keith Olbermann, who has more viewers than the rest put together. So come on, it's not as simple as FOX on the right and everyone else on Team Jane Fonda.

The only station with a consistently evenhanded viewpoint is PBS, and that's after years of attempted willful subversion by conservatives that blew up in their faces.
