I live in outside of Norfolk about an hour and some change away from Richmond. They used to have a pretty decent music scene there but that stopped pretty dead in its tracks a couple of years ago. Most good acts go through Charlottesville now. I actually haven't been to Richmond in a long time, I drive through there a lot though.

Too bad I'll be making an "I'm moving" thread here in a couple of weeks as well. Except where I'm going is more expensive and far away.

I'm so fucking glad I moved out of Florida.

I've lived in South Florida my entire life and if I could move right this instant I would. I'd tell you how horrible this place is, but I wouldn't know where to begin. The people here have to be some of the rudest, ingorant, class-less people I've ever come across. I can't wait to move. My wife and I are looking at the Raleigh area in NC, and the overall difference between there and here is like night and day.
