Whoa. This is a big joke for sure. I am convinced - the movie doesn't exist and will not exist.

I think it's just more viral marketing. Abrams has been going way overboard with it lately.

Even more casting news- the role of Dr. Leonard "Bones" McCoy has been handed over to none other than...Billy Bob Thornton! At first, this is an interesting choice, except when you take into account the fact that this film is supposed to chronicle the earliest adventures of the Star Trek crew- at 52, Billy's far too old. But we've been assured that Thornton will be de-aged via the same digital technique used so effectively on Patrick Stweart and Ian McKellen by Director Brett Ratner in X-Men: The Last Stand, so we'll have to see how it all ends up.

Pegg is real. Cho is rumored as Sulu, but not confirmed. Alan Cumming, Jenna Jameson, Tito Ortiz, and Billy Bob Thornton are very, very fake.

Chris Pine joins the Star Trek ranks alongside Zachary Quinto as Mr. Spock, Simon Pegg as Montgomery Scott, Anton Yelchin as Pavel Chekov, Zoe Saldana as Uhura, John Cho as Hikaru Sulu and Eric Bana as the villain Nero. We are waiting for confirmation, as we reported last week, of Karl Urban playing Dr. Leonard "Bones" McCoy. Plus, the role of Christopher Pike is still up for grabs.
