It definitely Meanders around a bit at the start (Like a lot of shows) but 2nd season and on it's fantastic and still good in the first season. It's probably my favorite star trek even if I don't care that much for Sisko (Though that opinion changed in the Moonlighting episode god that one was great). Garak is definitely one of my favorite characters.
Watched an episode of that once. Not doing it.

I have too, and I was like "Fuck this stretchy faced dude, what is going on?" But from everyone that I know who likes it advises me to give it time and it will ultimately become a rewarding, good show. I'd just rather watch TNG which is rewarding and awesome within 45 minutes.
