Ah yes, the "stupid complaints".

The quick cut thing is really the only thing that bothered me about the movie.

Abrahm's fucking loves tilting the camera at 45 degree angles in scenes and it pisses me off. Other than that though, I cannot see how anyone could be that angry at this movie.

The complaint that really pisses me off...

* Isn’t it convenient that the last piece of the classic Trek crew (Scotty) just happened to be stationed on the planet where Nero dumped Spock (conveniently placed close enough to where Kirk lands to rescue him)?

Probably for the same reason the alien probe from IV just happens to speak "Humpback Whale" or Chekov in II just happens to land on the planet Khan was stranded on. Jesus talk about irrelevant fucking nitpicking.


They did everything they could to reboot this shit while trying to stay true to the series, and personally while I hate reboots, after the last two Next Generation movies, this series fucking needed it.

Actually I kinda felt this whole "everyone's a superhero!" vibe that I didn't get in the show much, but I only watched the first season. Still, kinda silly. Also, it is referenced in the show that kirk is really smart. Although I thought the actor who played him was only ok.

I don't get why people are having such a tough with the idea that the whole thing is an alternate reality. Spock Prime didn't come back in time from the same future we see in Star Trek TNG; he's just thematically similar. The stardates, people! That's your first big clue!
