All Neo games are compatible with all mother boards except 1. There is a Neo Geo trackball game that has it's own 1-slot motherboard. The trackball game won't work on standard motherboards, and the trackball motherboard won't play standard games.one quick question.. every single neo geo arcade system is compatable with all the new games, correct? or do i need to get a special mb?

I think only one or maybe two games need extra hardware. The maze one (I forget the name) uses a track ball. And a majong game.
Just to drill it home, the CD system sucks. Forget load times and a lack of new titles. The main problem is the CD drives are piss poor and will break on you. The whold Neo Geo CD system feels cheap and flimsy.

There are a few very simple mods you can do to your MVS motherboard. Like adding a "pause" button. Which is really just putting a toggle switch on the screen freeze dip switch. Easy.
