Watched the first ep... pretty meh imo.

And yeah, it essentially retcons T3.

I'm betting John ends up sleeping with the Terminator chick at some point in the series though.

I actually liked most of the pilot. It's a TV show so it pretty much was in line with what I was expecting. You know it was going to have more Terminators, but I liked to it followed directly from T2 such as visiting Dysons' widow, references to Sarah's stay at Pescadero, etc. I thought the actress playing Sarah was good, seemed more maternal and feminine than the Sarah portrayed in T2.

The only part that didn't seem necessary was the time travel bit at the end. Why did they need to travel 10 years into the future to stop Skynet? So are there two John & Sarah Connors at that time now?
