Thread: Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles

  1. I wanted to see what the T-1000 was gonna do in the future.

  2. Right? That part was so rad!

  3. This makes me sad.

  4. Started watching this the other night on Netlfix. Pretty awesome so far. Sarah is freaking hot, though John does come off as a bit of a bitch sometimes. I looked online to see where exactly this fits in with the movies, and it seems it is more of an alternate reality than canon with the movies.Thats cool and all, but would have been nice to have had a more coherent bridge between 2 and 3 that fits in with the movies. Especially since 4 was such crap.

  5. It reminds me of the old NOW Comics Terminator shit from the 80's, in a weird way. Like, not even a little bit officially recognized (and more than a little crappy), but still neat to see a different direction things could have gone in?

  6. Dark Horse (I think?) is doing a similar comics series now, too.

  7. Yeah, they picked up after (during?) the NOW stuff, I think?

I watched the series a few months ago on Bluray, and for the most part I really enjoyed the series, especially the ending. I wish there had been one more season to wrap everything up.

  9. Just finished. There was a lull in season 2 that went on for a bit too long but the ending left me wanting more big time. A third season could have been epic. Sad we will never see it.

  10. After going through the first season of this recently, I came to one conclusion: None of the creative staff on the show had ever seen a Terminator movie.
I'm not a devious man by nature... but when you're unarmed, your tactics might gonna be downright Archimedean.
