No one is talking about prologue, so how is this thing? If you buy it do you get the full version discounted or something?
I had some fun with it. The online is totally useless. I'm torn on whether I am going to buy it for myself though. I haven't exhausted Forza 2, and that's already a better (and more complete) game.
The only reason I'd get it is because I love racers and buy almost every one that's at least decent. There's just not much reason outside of the graphics to play it right now.

The cars in GT drive so much better than Forza. All of Forza's shortcomings are well documented in that thread though. The AI in GT is pretty much its main problem (which i assume is not fixed?). I still prefer GT though.
The AI is better, but not great. Personally, I don't find that GT drives better at all.
The real killer right now is the lack of decent online. You can't play a private game, set up your own options or talk to anyone. Basically you're playing bumper cars with randomly assigned acceleration penalties (you can get penalized if someone spins you out and you collide with another car--that 'spinner' might not get anything). The game randomly assigns a host, and if the host does not like his starting position, he can quit and dump everyone back into the menus. Of course, you may not know this until you're down the track a ways.
a bunch of GT rumors are going around, and apparently its going to have a big showing at this years E3. Rumors flying around:
1. Worldwide release within the next 12 months, possibly 1 Dec, 2009
2. 600+ cars, 96 tracks with remakes from GT4
3. Track editor splicing tracks from existing tracks
4. Voice chat, party mode, clan suport
5. Two release versions, one SKU where you pay a large amount of money that allows you free excess to all future vehicle DLCs and another SKU which you have the option to purchase singular DLCs for.
6. GT mobile on PSP2 or PC

Is this going to have motorcycles in it? I think that's the only thing that could get me to buy it.
