I was happily surprised with the triggers. If they did them any other way, it'd ruin PS1 and PS2 games that need them to function as they used to.

New Rockstar franchise coming exclusively to PS3. I suspect this was motivated by the purported struggle to get GTA IV on the 360.

One has the shittiest D-pad known to man, and the other has an analog stick half an inch lower.

If they are the same, then why on the sony controller, there is a dpad where there should be a stick??? You do realize that is one of the points of concern, the major one being that the sticks themselves are just pure shit.

While I do think the Dualshock/sixaxis/shockaxis/whatever mundane feature sony tries to make sound bad ass they add in the future is a shitty controller, my point was that I, as do many others, prefer to use the 360 pad. Therefore, I will get any multiplatform game for the 360, unless the PS3 version just stomps it in every way possible.

Gotta agree with captain on this one. It's hard enough for me to play FPS's on the Xbox controller, let alone the dual shock.

Right. I like the 360/Type-S controller, they just feel very solid. Too bad the D-pad sucks like nobody's business.
