    Hello subjectivity.
Your join date is 2003 and you only just now figured out the primary reason behind this forum? It really took you four years to figure that out?

Honestly I didn't like it very much at first, I thought it was only okay. I went back months later and ended up loving it, but no real clue as to why I changed like that.

Blame Atlus, they own the rights as far as I know (not that I think Cave would have released either way).

  3. ESPRaDe/Guwange pack. . . I'd pay a full $60 for a console release. Shit--I'd pay $60 for each. Instead, I have the choice of... Dragon Blaze/Sol Divide!

  4. TATE shooters, imo.

    Dragon Blaze is fan-fucking-tastic.

  6. Trizeal and Oretachi Game Center Terra Cresta are two great tate-able PS2 releases, if you want to get off the Cave tip.
And just fyi, Oretachi Game Center Thunder Cross is becoming scarce, get it now if you want a classic hori-scroller.

  7. I like DOJ the best (but I also like a good challenge). Activating hypers is orgasmic. ESPGaluda is good fun, but pretty damn easy. I may be one of the few, but I feel ESP Ra.De. is lacking in gameplay, although it looks great (I know the developers felt the same way about it).

Just start with DOJ and ESPGaluda since those are such great ports.

  8. After putting in another couple of hours last night, I'm re-stating my fondness for Homura. Something about it just clicks with me.

Level 1 by someone much better than me-

Really? The primary reason behind this forum is for a bunch of people to come in and state one game is better than another with no further elaboration?

Yes of course it's all opinion. I was implying that it would be more helpful to the topic starter to explain more about the games, as well as more specifics as to why you think one game is better than another. Saying little more than "X is better than Y" or "X is the best" is not very helpful.
