Yeah, I didn't care much for Psyvariar 2 either (too much spinning around and not enough shooting). But Homura has a pretty fun and easy to learn chaining-type scoring system, the branching level design is nice (one path is for an "easy" route, the other for a "hard" route, even though they are both pretty much the same in difficulty), and the stage design is pretty good. I particularly like Stage 4's design. It's a good challenge to 1CC as well, getting to the Stage 4 boss on one credit isn't too hard, but beating the last boss takes some time and a good deal of skill.
