Actually, I haven't found this on other "Bladerunner OMG He's a Replicant" sites, but I always thought that Roy's sentence accented the word "people" as if he knew that Dekard wasn't a man.
Ie...

I always thought that was more of an jab at humanity as a whole instead of another hint for the audience.
