Thread: Blade Runner Is Coming Back To Theaters

Pitfall's right. The movie has very little to do with the book besides the actual replicants and the voigt-kampff test. I mean, there's no empathy box and the animal issue is skirted over. All the topics that are the meat of the story are simply bypassed for the movie.

The awesome fake police station scene in the book isn't there either. Instead we get "Say kiss me."

So is the movie, but you can hardly compare them.

I guess we'll have to chalk that one up to the old "Red-eye" effect seen when taking a picture.

Seriously though, no one remembers seeing the red in his eye when he was checking out Sean Young's apartment? It's quick, but you totally see it. At least I did... in HD

    Yeah. I really don't.

    Kind of like The Shining.

  6. Hopefully they will have some added footage to further tie this in with Kurt Russell's 'Soldier'.

    Not bloody likely.
I'm not a devious man by nature... but when you're unarmed, your tactics might gonna be downright Archimedean.

  7. Yeah I think the whole red eye on Harrison thing was probably originally just a little tease to give the movie an ambiguous maybe he is maybe he isnt kind of vibe but later Ridley decided to give an answer.

Not very sporting to fire on an unarmed opponent. I thought you were supposed to be good. Aren't you the "good" man? C'mon, Deckard. Show me what you're made of.
Yeah, Deckard. What's the deal you jerk!?!?!
