I've been waiting forever for a game based on this. Still, the details are too vague in that article...I wouldn't be surprised if nothing ever came of this. However, the idea of a game where you actually get to play as Jason and stalk and kill campers would be awesome if done right. Hell, make it a Temco's Deception rip-off to give it a little depth instead of just making it a base hack-and-slash.

Also, unlockable NES Jason skin is a must.

I'm surprised that there wasn't some sort of Left 4 Dead mod to do just that. Take turns being Jason, use various movie-cheat superpowers to get places quickly and be nigh-invincible, the campers get a survive the night kind of game ("mission points" for banging co-eds and going swimming without dying!).

Maybe everybody has a picture-in-picture that pops up whenever Jason picks up a weapon, and they can't cancel out of any activity the character is doing once they commit to it.

Yeah, like if you start boning someone, you've gotta ride it out until the end, or maybe play a little mini-game to blow your load faster before Jason kills you.

Also, Jason should be able set up a series of waypoints around the map that he can instantly warp to to simulate the way he always seems to appear out of nowhere when someone is running from him.
