Thread: World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King

  1. 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 and get them sit ups right and
Tuck your tummy tight and do your crunches like this
Give head, stop breathe, get up, check your weave
Don't drop the blunt and disrespect the weed
Pick up your son and don't disrespect your seed
It's a party tonight and ooh she's so excited
Tell me who's invited: you, your friends and my dick

  2. Insane talent tree changes announced today.

Sounds good to me. As long as they let me use a FFB spec for levelling.

  3. Probably a good idea. Talent trees are too big now.

  4. ugh, it will definitely fuck up my pvp build but whatever.

  5. At the end of the day talents trees are nothing more than you pretending you get to influence how your max level character performs.

I'm going to run the same PvE Max dps spec that every serious spriest runs and Blizzard is going to balance us around the damage that spec produces, pretending that what those points say matters at that point is just foolish. Every single one of my talents points could read "lolfuckyoumanuaknow?????" and if I do comparative DPS is raids it's all gravy.

  6. This was posted on the WoW forums:
Got in touch with my ex-flatmate, whose sister works as a GM for Blizzard, to see what the internal buzz on this was. Apparently, at the moment the employees are largely as pissed as the players, and she stated that despite attempts to keep it hushed, it has become known that the big creative players within Blizzard are pretty much as unhappy about this as we are. Everybody has been told they are not free to comment on this situation outside of specially prepared statements.

It’s still going ahead, however (and here’s where in-house rumours and hearsay really start coming into play): from what they’ve picked up, the Blizzard leads have been told in no uncertain terms that the non-gameplay-related direction of the game is working to a different blueprint now. GC and company are free to play with shiny new talent trees all they like, for example, but for the first time the decisions regarding Battle.net implementation, Real ID, and plans for the general acquisition of new players for the business are no longer in Blizzard’s own hands, and that’s not going down too well.
It's hearsay but with everything I read about Battle.net 2.0, I wouldn't be surprised if it's true. I even expect this RealID crap to eventually tie directly to Facebook.

I guess Blizzard can pull an Infinity Ward but it would be horrible to lose those IPs.

Activision is such a shitty company.

This is pretty awesome too. It's a breakdown of everything that's happened with Blizzard since the merger.

  7. I wonder whatever happened with the next gen MMO they moved a bunch of people to. Activision would own that, so if the higher ups at Blizzard did pull an Infinity Ward it would be a looooong time until we see another product from them.

  8. Real names will be taken off the forums after the first murder/suicide. And both April* and Henry Strange are dead.

    *possibly Cass

Meh, Warcraft is cool and all, but it started out as an IP ripoff and they can definitely do better if they want. Starcraft would be a loss, but I really think it would be in our best interests if the main designers and programmers just cut their losses and ditched the company.

The worst part is going to be waiting for the hacks for Diablo 3 to circumvent Battle.net.
