And I can tell you, I am going to own the SHIT out of Brewfest this year. Top 100 for sure.
Opaque, none of us play it anymore.

Brewfest will always have all of my hate for being the last thing between me and my holiday meta. Fuck those keg runs.
I guess the NBA must be awesome all around, because every team finishes in the Top 30.
Seriously though Opaque, you're delusional. No one cares about any placement besides the Top 10, none of those people in the Top 100 can name one other guild in the Top 100 under the Top 10, and probably under the Top 5 (including yourself).
It's almost four months since the first Heroic Lich King kill, there is a new instance out - stop fronting.
If there were literally over 25,000 teams, then yes, finishing in the top thirty would be a very big deal. Being in the top, say, .25% of the NBA would be very respectful.
You say that and yet I can think of about 50+ US guilds in the top 100, I even knew about Mechs guild before I knew who his toon was. A lot of us keep tabs of rankings fairly often, and it's not hard to look at a list of names and remember the vast majority of them. Is it a huge deal that we're top 100, no. Is that an extremely common term used amongst the higher end raiding community? Yes. Guarantee you Mech has heard in his guild, at least a million times, someone reference "top 100 guilds" when discussing progression.
That hardly counts to diminish the difficulty of the encounter, come on. Wether or not you care about our ranking on the kill, don't act like the fight is some magical push over now or some shit, 0.26% of guilds in the Us have completely the encounter according to Wowprogress, trying to say the encounter it's anything other than extremely difficult, for any reason, is the fronting.
Which is fine, but at the same time doesn't diminish what my guild just did, even though Dave wishes it did.
Whether or not you guys play now doesn't change that you guys were ranked 4000+ US for both Tier 9 and Tier 8, and if I recall correctly you were ranked lower for Naxx but those rankings are now gone. Again, that's fine, but Dave's ability to discuss HLK as if it's easy, when quite literally you would have never completely the encounter (everyone says it's harder than any fight in Sunwell before the nerfs), is confusing.

Of course it's difficult, it's an accomplishment for sure. Thats why you get a title and an achievement for completing it.
It's just not some huge deal to kill it four months later, and be in the Top 100
Never said it was a big deal. It's a deal, it's worth mentioning in recruitment posts and for perspective, that's about it.
Also time frame on this fight means shit, Paragon killing it four months ago is beyond impossible seeming from my point of view, mathematically it almost doesn't make sense. It took a whole month for a second guild to kill it period, so come on, don't act like the time frame means anything. If anything the fact that guilds within the top quarter of a percent of the population are just getting the kill four months later speaks to how incredibly amazing Paragon is, nothing else.
