The new patch drastically reduced the amount of experience needed to level from 1-60 and from 60-70. If you start now you can easily be 60 by the time the expansion hits.

We need dependable healers.

If you buy the game and let someone register you for the recruit a friend program you'll get triple XP up to level 60 when you play with a character of theirs close to your level, which means you could be 60 in a week or two easy if you have the time.

Also GT did a pretty damn good Restrospective which does well to highlight why Blizzard is one of the greatest video game companies ever made.

I unfortunately can't play as much as I'd like thanks to the household vagina, but if you want a leveling partner (I've got a range of alts from like 24-62) or need to be run through an instance just ask. Besides, if you can make 50s by the expansion you'll have some DKs to hook up with.

I mostly just say that because we have zero shamans, they may even be flakier than warriors. And make sure to send lots of tells to Jerica, he loves to give away gold and items to help people.
