That's not what I said, stupid. I said that if you want to criticize an article about which Lynx games are better than other Lynx games, bringing up non-Lynx games is fucking stupid. The article wasn't even about that.
I love the Lynx, I've stated that already, but even if I didn't, I'm not going to put Gradius for Gameboy on a list of the top 20 Lynx games, so don't be stupid. You keep repeating that you cannot possibly conceive of others disagreeing with you, when clearly no one here really seems to. You can't seem to wrap your head around the fact that your opinion is not universal, and you're relying on that delusion to carry your argument (or compensate for a lack thereof).
But they looked and sounded better than the Game Gear or Game Boy. And graphics and sound are hardly the main criteria by which to judge games anyway, so again, this is a really weak point. It still doesn't matter what Lynx hardware was capable of, the games looked and usually sounded like shit. And most are just plain tedious to play. End of story.
As for tedium, that's completely subjective, but the system had its share of quality action and puzzle games. I think it's fair to say that Blue Lightning was the best handheld game of its kind, for example. Chip's Challenge is generally considered one of the better block-pushing puzzlers, too. We could go down the list, but it would get boring.
The system was shit for platformers and some other genres, we all know that, and I'll throw some of the library under the bus, but there ARE some very good games on there.
