I tried a new Peruvian restaurant today, and they had Guaranį Antarctica! I was completely addicted to that stuff when I was in Brazil. I had never seen it in the US before. Their Pollo Saltado was also really good.

Okay, so the deal is that getting a hotel in Eugene, Salem, or Corvallis on the night of the eclipse was literally impossible, or $1000 which was so lol that i wouldnt do it on principle alone. So we're going to be Eugene from the night of the 18th to the morning of the 20th (since it was cheaper than staying in PDX,) then going to PDX on the 20th through the 22nd.
Websites are saying that the best eclipse visibility will be in Salem & Corvallis, places like that. Since I have zero knowledge of traffic patterns in PDX and the surrounding areas, I'm assuming the whole entirety of PDX is going to be headed south and we're going to hit super duper traffic. I also have zero knowledge of anything in Salem or ANY idea where to view the action event.
So, PDXers, whatever you think is the past of the best action to see this once or twice in a lifetime event, I am fine with. As Icarus mentioned, there's prob gonna be families and stuff involved, so if we were all to go to some centralized place, that's perfect. Additionally, if you guys don't want to do the eclipse thing together or are too busy with kids and parents, etc. we can get together that night too!! I'll make a thread for it now.

Kind of thinking of making an arcade thread for the arcades that people have visited from the forum. Maybe create a Google docs with game lists and other info.
Do we have an arcade thread? I feal like yoshi made one for the pcbs he'd been buying.
