no. Life has affected my gaming. Full time job plus two hour commute plus being a father means very little time for games. I find that even when I do have time, I'd rather just watch a movie or read a book.
Yes, positively.
Yes, negatively.
No.
Not as much anymore. I dont have time to sit down and play any 40+50 hour RPG other than RPG's like Oblivion. Work, and School take away most of the time. And after that I'd rather hang out and play some multiplayer games with some friends then always be stuck playing a single player game. But I do still enjoy single player gaming.

Games have had a negative impact for sure, too much time spent on bullshit games that don't matter at all and not enough on things that deserve attention. But I'm making an effort to cut that shit out.

If I didn't play video games I'd probably be doing something constructive with my life instead.
I'd say positively. Met my wife through the Digital Press boards and all because we both collect games. If that's not positive, I don't know what is.
Good stuff portnoyd.
Games are a positive for me. I don't play too often (mostly on weekends) but its a good way for my friends to get together(online) since we all live hundreds of miles away from one another. Its also nice to take an hour out of the day and just play an arcade game and just relax.
