Call me crazy, but the law of averages is in Favre's favor. What is he, like 0-8 lifetime at Dallas, including the playoffs?
Not to take anything away from Dallas, they're a really good team this year and Romo appears to be a legit QB in this league, but the Packers will be playing for two things:
1.) Home-field advantage throughout the playoffs.
2.) The fact that they haven't won in Dallas under Favre. This team looks like they're having fun when they play, they have an explosive passing offense that seems to have found its running game, they have a solid defense, and one of the all-time greats at QB.
If the Packers entered the game with none of the above, I'd agree - they'll get plastered, but they're not. They're entering this game pretty well-equipped. Granted, the Boys could essentially be playing for the same thing, but they have more to lose from this game than what the Packers stand to gain.
I think this will be one of the more physical games of the week, given what's at stake; but I don't care what history says, don't be suprised if the Packers pull the "upset" this week.
