Any team would love to have a player like Taylor on their team - even your beloved Cowboys.

I do however, believe that there is more to this story and this is a tragedy.
lol Gun violations are far worse than drug possession. No one ever killed somebody else by snorting coke alone. Keep trying though. Irvin was a better player and a lesser criminal.

Receivers feared him and his fans loved him for that.
He also blew coverages, was fined multiple times for dirty plays, and spit on an opponent.

  3. Regardless of predicting Injuries, Benson hasn't been very good at all this year. More time for Backup RB Adrian Peterson whom in limited action has looked good. I'm not sold on him as being a great back either but he can't do much worse than Benson (Except for the last game where Benson was a beast).

No running back is going to be a stud in Chicago when there's no passing game. I'd put nine guys in the box, double-team Berrian, and gamble that Grossman can't hit the Y, Z, or TE.

  5. That's how every NFL team plays the bears.

  6. tell that to denver, tto his credit, grossman hit the passes when he needed to at the end of the 4th

  7. Grossman has the abilities of a good QB absolutely. But he's missing the single most important part. Consistency. The guy can get the long ball out, the guy can handle pressure, the guy and get the quick pass off. But jesus christ the guy can't do it for more than a few plays. I don't know if it's the mentality or the maturity, but this guy is missing it.

He's an idiot, see Smith, Akile for a comparison. He blows 4 out of 10 passes because he throws to the wrong route.

At least you admitted that Irvin was a criminal. So I'll take that.

Most of the fines came in his first 2 years in the League (sans the the Pittman incident).

This year, the first in which he was a true free safety - he dominated.

Despite all of that shit in his past, he was a Pro Bowl Alternate in '05, Pro Bowler in '06, and was on pace to reach the Pro Bowl again in '07. Given the fact that Pro Bowlers are selected by fans, coaches, and players, I'd say he had the respect of a lot of people for what he did on the field.

There's no doubt. Miami breeds them.
