I said during the week that both the Eagles and the Lions chatter would come back to earth after this game. The Lions were 2-0, yeah, but thanks to wins over the Raiders and the Vikings at home. The Eagles receivers looked awful, yeah, thanks to playing the two best bump and run, man corner defenses in the NFC.
I also picked the Packers to win today, I've thought for some time that Ted Thompson has gone the smart route by quietly but surely building one of the best defenses in the NFC.
