The Browns appear way better than anyone in the Pats' division this year.

  2. This is true, and exciting

Based on what I saw last week and last night, I'd say the G-men are starting to play with a chip on their shoulder and starting to play toward their potential.

Something tells me, come rematch time, your Cowboys won't run up 45 points on the G-men again. So enjoy the early season performance because I don't think you'll see that again - especially against a division opponent.

Just ask the Bears about how well their defense played against Big-D. They're all injured, after the pounding they took from Barber and company in the second half.

  5. I agree with Yoshi, you're absolutely right, it won't be 45 to whatever, it'll be 28 to 14.

The Cowboy's defense was shitty that night as well, they've improved, the Cowboy's have that division, maybe the NFC. Your only other real competitors at this point in time is Green Bay, Tampa, Seattle, and the Lions. Maybe there will be some changes, maybe the Giants finally remembered how to play football without Tiki. But none of them are nearly as spectacular to watch as the Cowboy's or Green Bay. And Green Bay is only great to watch because of how well the team is doing after so many dismal years, and watching one of the greatest QBs of all time playing not as well, but pretty damn good.

  6. Alright Type Ryan, our bet comes up this week too, I've got $10 on the Lions beating the Redskins.

I have to admit, the Lion's have me feeling better about this choice lol.

    I didn't forget.

Let's see... no Santana Moss (most likely), probably no Portis, lost the right-side of the offensive line, AND we're coming off a complete meltdown against the Giants.

Other than that, I feel great about my bet.

Hadn't heard this yet. What's wrong with him? I've got Betts in fantasy and figured this would happen by week 3 or so.

His tendinitis his flaring up again. I have Betts on my fantasy team as well, so that was one of my smarter pick-ups.

    From WashingtonPost.com

The Redskins have until tomorrow to release a detailed injury list, but it appeared many recovering players were on track to participate in full drills this week.
Starting linebacker Rocky McIntosh(shoulders) said he continued to receive treatment for a pinched nerve. Starting strong-side linebacker Marcus Washington, who has been playing in pain after dislocating his right elbow in the preseason, wore a different type of elbow brace.
Rookie safety LaRon Landry, who cut his right hand in the last game, appeared to be limited in practice. . . . Defensive end Phillip Daniels (bruised back), defensive tackle Cornelius Griffin (knee) and defensive tackle Anthony Montgomery (sprained right thumb) practiced. . . . Fullback Mike Sellers's bruised calf was still taped.

Fuck me Agnus, the injuries to key players are starting to pile up.

EDIT: I just realized that Portis isn't on this list (nor is Santana Moss). Anyway, I heard that Portis' knee was acting up through the local sports radio.
