Thread: Borderlands

  1. I heard that playing games on PC gives you aids. Is this true?

  2. I got this and am level 9 now...it's awesome

  3. I beat this today. Going for 1000/1000 though.

This is the result of developing for a platform that has no hardware standard. There are so many possibilities for a computer configuration that you can't plan a PC release that will work out-of-the-box for every configuration. This is offset by having more multiplayer options, better graphics, and the ability to find (or develop) mods to improve or change the game.

There is something nice about having a game work when you put it in the system, but let's not refer to the extra $10 console games cost as value. It's only to help pay the licensing fee Microsoft and Sony charge for releasing a game on their systems.

  5. I am L14 now; this game is a lot of fun. Not sure if it has staying power (probably doesn't), but it's fun finding new stuff

Dude, you really have been taking Uncharted 2 way too personally.

  7. Finally online and picked this up yesterday. Lvl 16 Hunter and 13 Soldier. Probably won't do too much with the soldier anymore since I'm really digging the Hunter. Hit me up on live kids.
    All is well.

Zerker is clearly the most fun to play. Clearly.

Yeah. It's a niche market, though. And forever one.
