    Ditto...

I'm up for trying out the zombie DLC, but both my characters are somewhere around level 32

  2. You will get slaughtered on Zombie Island at Level 32, unless the enemies scale WAY down. Even the fodder enemies were at Level 42 and 43 when I started. On the upside, if you go with a high-level partner or two, you will level up very quickly. Just don't expect to do anything for a while other than get your ass repeatedly saved.

Edit: And send me a friend request. I'm always down for Borderlands....unless I'm playing Bayonetta.

    "Fiends! Animals! Bastards!"

  3. I started Zombie Island at 35 and I haven't had much trouble yet playing it solo.

    [edit]

But I'm playing as Lilith and most of the time when a zombie touches me it sets itself on fire and dies very quickly.

  4. I guess they do scale down then, although Level 32 sounds awfully low.

  5. Aim to finish Zombie Island before any more DLC. Level 43 Soldier, add me up if you wanna play (I'll play high, low level whatever).

  6. I'll play some zombie island.

  7. More DLC! + Level Cap increase!

Gearbox confirms next add-on to double-platinum RPG/FPS hybrid will raise level cap, be larger than the previous two.

With reviewers, Borderlands' downloadable content record currently stands at 1-0-1. The first add-on to the acclaimed "role-playing shooter," The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned, was a hit with critics--who weren't quite as hot on DLC #2, Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riot.

The other Pandora's population is about to increase.

Now comes word that Gearbox Software's plan to regularly update Borderlands with DLC is moving ahead full steam. In a post on the game's official forums, level designer Jason Reiss revealed that the Dallas-area developer is readying a third-add-on for the game--which will be its largest yet.

"This is the biggest DLC we have made," declared Reiss after teasing, "Level cap increase anyone?" He offered neither a release date or a reveal date, saying only, "Hopefully we can get a full announcement out to you guys soon."

Even without the new expansion, Borderlands has exceeded industry expectations. After being written off by top analysts as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 cannon fodder, the all-new property proved an international hit. As of December, it had sold over 2 million units worldwide, according to publisher Take-Two Interactive--which is grooming it to be a "major franchise."

  8. Eh, I traded it in, gonna wait for the inevitable Game of the Year Edition for all the DLC.

    Same!

  10. I dunno if I should go this route...I only bought Zombie Island at this point, but I heard Moxie is pretty usless (loot box aside). So I dunno if trade + rebuy is a better idea than getting the cap increase DLC.
