hoah, that whole mess really sucks.

All I can say is that it was all probably your wifes fault. She was never fully honest with you. She didn't put forth much effort to be "one" with you. Every time in your story that I saw a twist against you, it was pretty obvious that she had sat and thought about very important things and never consulted you about them, if not hid it from you. She did not take her partnership with you seriously. She was still very much a selfish child thinking mainly about herself.

She has problems with sex. Either she was cheating on you, or did not have a healthy sexual relationship with herself. Her friends may very well be the same way. And it sounds like she never came to you with her problem. It is clear however she knew there was a problem as she had obviously talked to her friends about it. The jokes with friends prove that. The average woman would be shocked that to hear a friend was not having sex and had such a dark outlook on it. The fact that they could joke so easily about it, and even make fun of you in public proves that it had been a topic of conversation previously and they were beyond comfortable with it by the time of the joke.

Until she grows up, she will never be happy in a serious relationship with a man. People can grow together, or apart, and until she stops being self centered and childish, she will always grow away from men and have nothing but failed or problematic relationships. It might even damage her relationship with your children.

Man, she sounds like she was plain crazy. Sex is important in a relationship, people try to blow it off, but if you aren't having it all of a sudden then something's wrong. My last relationship was like that, I wanted sex all the time and he never did. It caused a lot of resentment and strife. He was always like "Why is sex so important to you?" I hated that crap.

lol "why is sex so important to you?" ? what an absurd question. There is a certain intangible closeness that comes out in sex. It requires a great deal of trust and it shares a certain something. It helps to eliminate that basic sense of loneliness that everyone feels at every moment of the day. I think everyone knows this on some subconscious level and it is why people are so mentally destroyed with a significant other cheats.
