I hope the new age Comaro and Challenger don't go the way of the new age GTO. I would love to see a new Road Runner come out of the works.

Thief, if you really think you're going to get a Pontiac G5, at least do me the favor of test driving a similiar priced Mazda 3 and Honda Civic first (and the Scion you like). If you still think the G5 is what you want then go for it, but I don't think I'd even consider getting one of those.
I've never been in a G5, but the G6 is an abomination. The only Cobalt I've ever heard good things about was the SS, and that was only for the engine. And I also had an HHR for a couple days once and that too was pure suck. As far as they have come recently, GM still hasn't made a blip in the economy car segment, and I would stay away.
The Cobalt isn't a bad car really. Its what should have replaced the Cavalier. In 1995.
thanks for the link. i really like the interior of the r32. i haven't sat in one yet, but i plan to test drive it if i can, looks really cozy and comfortable.
the evo x is also front wheel biased as well, if i'm not mistaken.
if i can get the r32 at invoice or below, i'll probably buy one over the Evo.
still cant believe vw doesnt offer it in black, that's the dumbest move ive ever seen.

Evo X isn't fwd biased. It will let the tail step out and oversteer perfectly. I would love to play with one on a track. It sounds like they have nailed the electronics that control the awd and traction control systems. The skid pad numbers in every test are rediculous.
Sti and r32 are both prone to understeer.
The new evos look sick, my friends getting one soon.
