I'm afraid with everything combined I'm gonna look a whole helluva lot cooler than I am. The helmet/pants/boots should be here sometime next week and I'll pick up the bike after I've taken the the motorcycle rider course on the 13th/15th/16th.

What site did you buy them from? Glad to hear you're taking the rider course. Also, you're lucky that you live in prime motorcycle territory. Beautiful weather, elevation changes, and curves abound. Florida has straight roads. That's about it.

I bought from NewEnough.com. They've been outstanding so far.

The area is indeed good riding/driving territory. I've already planned out a route to work that avoids the freeways and hits my favorite driving roads while getting me to work on time.

Yeah, I can't recommend New Enough ... enough. The only thing that I can complain about is them not carrying Vanson anymore, but then again, that's how I got my leather jacket for just a little over $200 (marked down more than half off). Huzzah.
