I just saw this movie come into my store the other day and HAD to grab it.

Does anyone else have fond memories of this movie? I used to watch this shit and get pumped up watching him play Ninja Gaiden, and I blew a nut the first time I saw Mario 3. Plus, this is the movie that introduced me to that "send me an angel" song. Every time I hear it, I relive this movie over and over again. Overall, after watching it for the first time in like 10 or more years, it still holds up as a very enjoyable movie. If it's been a while since you've seen it, or you never have, get on this shit.

I loved this flick when I was 8.

No longer 8, though.

Then again, still like the same video games.

No, it doesn't. It's an hour and half long commercial for SMB 3 (also the Powerglove). It's fucking terrible by any objective viewpoint.

First footage of SMB 3 was in this movie. I think that was the entire why I went to see it. Great movie for an 8 year old, almost passed out from excitement when SMB 3 rocked everyones faces when it was in the last round of the championship.

The movie is terrible, and relatively depressing to boot. It has about 10 minutes of memorable footage. If I was 8 I would find the majority of movie very boring since very little of it actually has to do with video games.
