She was also Kevin's sister in The Wonder Years. I didn't make that connection at all when I was younger for some reason.

  3. Anyone remember the comic books from the 80's (if you're not an old fucker like me)? I used to love reading that shit.

Sadly though, I've only seen Red Sonja which I think is a sequel to the Conan movies.

It's so true. One of the best commentary tracks ever.

James Earl Jones is terrifying in this movie. He's charismatic and totally insane at the same time.

I love it when he starts making fun of the kid who played young Conan. "Vat, is da kid vearing lipstick?" lol.

Sometimes it's freakier when a guy rants about insane things in a calm, collected voice as opposed to screaming like a maniac.

You mean the old Marvel ones? Yeah, I have a bunch of them in a box somewhere. Good shit.

It's not a sequel. Arnold's in it, but he's not Conan (although he's just like Conan). He plays some Prince or something. The movie's pretty fucking silly.

If you've never seen it, go rent Conan the Barbarian tonight.

Shit, compared to most sword and sorcery movies of the 80's, Conan the Barbarian is almost an art film. It had good dialogue, an amazing score, bloody violence, and atmosphere. And James Earl fucking Jones was amazing, dude. And watch out for that Franco Columbu cameo in the beginning!
    80's?

More like compared to all of them. Yes, that includes Lord of the Rings.

  10. Conan >>>> Lord of the Rings
