Damn, I've bought more WiiWare games than XBLA games in the last few months. The quality has really picked up.

If you played the Lunars on the Sega CD, like God intended, you wouldn't have given two shits about the PS1 packages. WD was useful during the 16-bit era for Sega CD and Turbo CD releases. They were negative value-add during the 32-bit era.

Please, SSSC nipped and tucked the drawn-out mess that was Sega CD Lunar, plus a better magic system and end game. Eternal Blue complete was a dissappointment but still better than 95% of it's peers. Anyone who frequented the import market or god forbid, bought AES shouldn't bitch about premium box rape.

WD deserves kudos for porting Dragon Force too.

WD provided a valuable service. I'd rather live in a world where I could play some of those games than not. If they didn't start to believe they were the only ones capable of translating slightly niche Japanese games, they could still be around today, competing with Atlus or whatever.
