  7. Someone needs to post Blaster Master Overdrive impressions stat!

Already looks ace - the inclusion of a map is the biggest plus for the game. Is it a remake though? A sequel? A ReBirth whateverthehell?

So far I like it. The controls seem a bit more sluggish than I remember them being in the original game. It doesn't really hurt the S.O.P.H.I.A. parts at all. The parts on foot suffer a bit more from the controls. They still work fine but I don't see how anything like the crab battle from the first game could ever happen. The movement just feels a bit more restricted.

The on foot areas have been pretty lame so far too. There isn't anything really wrong with them, they are just a bit too simple. I just killed the first boss and though I have some complaints, it's pretty good. So far it feels like a watered down version of the original.

One other complaint, you can't use the classic controller. I'm not sure why but it forces you to use the Wii remote.

  10. Gimmick is seriously rough. The videos don't really show how crazy momentum-based it is.

i'm kinda having trouble thinking of better NES games than Sunsoft's bunch, no joke
