I'd be down for that, as long as each person could specify their systems of choice (I own most of the games for NES/SNES/Genesis/N64 in cart form already).

I think the way it works is you buy the game and it goes directly to the recipient's account (you never actually have the game on your Wii).

Did you update your system yet? When you go to a game in the shop pages, you will have two options below it now that let you buy it or send it as a gift to someone. I noticed it today when I picked up Pokemon Snap.

I like the VC secret santa idea, too.

If that secret santa thing ever takes off, keep in mind that you are not permitted to gift VC games across countries. US > Canada will not work.

Cool feature. I think sending each other crap may be a little cumbersome but I have a little cousin who is getting a Wii for Xmas and it will be neat to send him a game every few weeks.
