Well I guess its more like I'd rather get opinions from here than anywhere else. I went to gamefaqs and looked at a You Tube video. It looks ok but it looks more like a beat em than a Slug clone.

Top Hunter isn't anything like Metal Slug. It's a light-hearted side-scrolling action game where you attack enemies by punching, jumping on them, throwing objects, etc. It's really enjoyable, especially with two players. It also sports the kind of charm that Treasure's games usually have, except it came out before Treasure existed.

Treasure existed when Top Hunter came out but I agree with the rest.

Pilot Wings still has some nice color and the music is absolutely wonderful. It's good fun...not worthless. Rolling Thunder rocks too tho.

I loved StarTropics back in the day. I think I'll download that right now.
