  1. Interesting Star Wars cutting room floor factoid...

From Sir Steves Star Wars Guide:
So why does Count Dooku come with Anakin's Green Lightsaber?

The green lightsaber packaged with the Count Dooku figure, was Anakin's lightsaber that he used to fight Yoda after defeating Anakin. The scene WAS cut from the movie, but still appears in #4 of 4 of the Dark Horse "Attack of The Clones" comic.
WOW. I REALLY hope that gets finished for the DVD release, Dooku fightin Yoda with 2 sabers would be uber-badass.

  2. Hmm, Interesting info. I would also like to see the full version of the fight, if its ever gonna be included on the dvd.

  3. Interesting.

Can someone tell me why no one bothered to make Anakin's lightsaber blue throughout the film? Since they went to such lengths to give Samuel L. Jackson the color he wanted, you'd think they'd at least try to keep the continuity between the trilogies intact.

The green one he used during the arena battle and the Dooku duel wasn't his own; his broke during the droid factory sequence, remember? Then when the Jedi reveal themselves in the arena, somebody notices Obi & Ani's sabers are gone, so tosses them a pair. Ani's just happened to be green. I suppose Lucas wanted him to have 2 different colors during the (WAY TOO BRIEF!!!) two-fisted monkey style segment of the Dooku duel.
