Oh no doubt. 360 and PS3 is serious business.

Looks great, and I've heard nothing but good about it. I've been looking forward to Little King Story since the first video. Thankfully I've got a couple days off between now and its release to finish up Red Faction in.

Same here. I've been looking forward to this game for awhile and am glad to see that it may very well meet or exceed my expectations (assuming the reviews and opinions I've read aren't completely off base).
I agree reviews shouldn't necessarily be catered to any one console; however, aside from the obvious graphical limitations, what makes you think this would be any better on the PS3 or XBOX360? To me, this game doesn't make me think "This should've been done on _____." And, for the record, I don't think any form of online play would add value to this particular game.
Thanks again for your wonderfully insightful and in-depth viewpoint! I appreciate you!
Graphical limitations are enough. If this game was on the PC, it would likely be $40, look better, and have more control options.
If you assume it has to be on a console, then you're paying $50 for a game that could have been made in 2005 (I'm giving it credit for maybe being beyond a launch title) or earlier. How much do GameCube games go for these days? $20 tops? Nearly every Wii game should take a major hit for the price vs technology imbalance.
Sure, it's always nice to have the prettiest coat of paint possible, but I guess I don't take much issue with this as long as it doesn't negatively affect the gameplay experience. In the perfect world, would I prefer every game to be on the system with the largest ceiling? Absolutely. But at the same time, I'm not going to let the console limitations negatively impact my purchasing decisions on software titles I'm looking forward to. Unless of course, the console simply doesn't do the title justice (for example, most FPS titles on Wii).
More than likely, yeah. PC games don't enter the equation for me personally as it's not something I choose to invest in. Then again, this argument can be used for just about any game released.
I see this argument used a lot and, while it sounds good, it doesn't really make sense. Are we to assume that the development teams aren't putting as much time and effort into the game because of the systems hardware limitations? I mean, aside from the coat of paint, the games aren't THAT drastically different from one system to another. And, keep in mind, PS3 and 360 games retail for $10 more than Wii games due to the differences already.
I agree with the first sentence but I would have to play it first to agree with the second. A game should be able to get 8s and 9s on gameplay even if the graphics aren't cutting edge.
And if a mod could edit the thread title to its domestic name, Little King's Story, that would be appreciated. Thanks.

Please never say anything that stupid again. "Old and used games cost less than new ones, so new games should be cheap" is the kind of argument I'd expect from a teenager who just wants everything to be free so it fits his budget.
I get that you're talking tech rather than age, but there hasn't been a new Gamecube game in four years. You also seem to think that game creation involves coming up with an idea, slapping on the prettiest coat of graphics possible, and sitting back while the world basks in the glory of your creation's booty. If that was true then development time and cost would be halved on every game created, easily.

No, NeoZeedu. Wii games are for BABIES and BABY games don't deserve 8's or 9's. They deserve 1's and 2's, because that's how old BABIES are. 8's and 9's games are for BIG KIDS who play PC GAMES.A game should be able to get 8s and 9s on gameplay even if the graphics aren't cutting edge.
