Ok So to the TNL Musicians and Sound Engineers, I'm starting pre-production on my thesis animation, which is going to be a 45 - 60 second short narrative. I'm a poor grad student so I would appreciate if it could be done for free, but I understand that that's not how the real world works so I guess I'm also looking to see what people would want to do it.
The piece is going to have a Japanese feel to it, I'm thinking I want that, shit I need to check on the names of them, but the main 2 instruments I'd like to hear in it are the Japanese wind flute, kind of like what you hear in kill bill, and the I don't want to call it a Japanese guitar but it's a Japanese string instrument.
Like I said the piece is only going to need to be 45 - 60 seconds. I'm going to have the first pass of my story board done in about 2 weeks or so, which should give the a rough idea for the timing and pace of the piece and should help give something to start something on. I won't need a final piece of music for a few months but I wanted to get a jump on this so that it comes out really well and fits the final animation.

In all seriousness, I'd love to do it, but time is something I don't seem to have much of these days. Let me know when you get to storyboards though... I'll give it a shot.
