Directions: L at 1st Avenue

If your coming from Penn Station, you want to take the A,C,E to 14th St, where you can get the L, then take it to 1st Ave. Easy Enough.

This East Village dive uses the same successful bait as Williamsburg brother bars the Alligator Lounge and Capone's--a free personal pizza with every drink. A steady flow of students, locals and suits dig into the piping-hot pies, perhaps washing them down with a pint of the bar's signature Croc Ale. The subterranean barroom is, not surprisingly, reptilian-themed (crocodile heads and tails poke through the ceiling), but more unusual is the Skee Ball machine in the rear game room.
