Love it or hate it season 1 had a lot of good character developments and interaction. The problem is the action never really satisfied. The final battle at Kirby Plaza was bullshit and not the drawn out, balls to the wall action we wanted from Peter and Sylar. Also Peter exploding really didn't make any sense since he had the flying ability. He also still has the radiation ability and doesn't go postal with it.
Having Peter dealing with controlling his explosions in a controlled setting after being captured by The Company would have been the only way to make that work for season 2.
I liked the Kensei storyline with Hiro in season 2, but the amnesia was convenient and dumb. Kensei + Sylar would have been great. Sylar turning on him would have been even better (but I guess you can't have Sylar indestructible, but you could always cut his head off). Season 3 is about villains. So lets hope they learned from their stupid shit in Season 2. But the fact that I'm seeing a "bad" Claire with brown hair and black clothing makes me think it's going to be cheesy bullshit. Maybe capping the amount of powers Sylar can have would be a good idea. If he takes a new one he loses an old one or something like that.
