I have an idea. Let's madlib a Heroes season.
Future ________ comes back to try stop _______ from _______ and destroying the world. As a result, Matt Parkman must go on a quest of self discovery that will affect his relationship with _____, his ______ but he will play an important part in the subplot that makes more sense than the main one. Meanwhile Hiro and Ando will end up ______ by ________ and have to take their own journey that will change their friendship in new and challengng ways.
Meanwhile Nathan somehow ends up having sex with a character played by Ali Larter, called ______ who has the power of _______ and kills people "accidentally". Somehow Peter will become led by someone else and learn more about the nature of his powers, but will never use them effectively and will make decisions even a braindead 4 year old would advise him against.
Meanwhile Claire follows Peter's example and does a bunch of stupid nonsensical crap to put her and her family in danger which her Dad will resolve by ___________ Sylar but not actually killing him outright. Claire will at some point die and come back to life, possibly multiple times over the season.
Cool new characters ______, ______, _____ and ______ will debut and be dead by the end of the season, if not by the end of the very episode they first appeared in. They will also have the coolest but most expensive powers, such as _______ , _______, ______ thus necessitating their death. No one will bury anyone for any reason and these dead bodies/murder scenes will never be investigated ever by anyone because the police stopped following the Sylar investigation from season 1 completely and Matt never made any attempt to reach out to his old department for help or to provide further evidence.
Some character, most likely a child, will instead simply disappear and never be mentioned again for any reason no matter how important they appeared to be the previous season such as Molly, Micah and Nathan's children. At least one character must die per episode. Even if they are going to be resurrected, someone MUST die.
A misunderstood but well meaning villain will be introduced called _____ with a link to the founders of the company and the Petrelli family. Strong hints will be dropped as to what is true and what is not regarding certain characters and their pasts but nothing will be outright stated. They will try to lead one of the Petrelli brothers astray but inevitably fail and die before the end of the season, setting up the final arc where Sylar is once again the main villain.
Nathan and Peter will work together and against each other until the final 3 episodes where Sylar disappears and we are meant to believe he is dead, Nathan looks like he is going bad but then does the ________ thing by his family. Then he ends up dead/near death because of _______ but somehow survives.
Incidentally, everyone is completely independently wealthy and can travel around the world freely without having to work their old day jobs such as being a Senator, nurse, police officer, university lecturer, political aide or office worker. So don't bother worrying about real life stuff like that, whether it be how a solar eclipse actually occurs or how someone gets from being on an island to being on a Mexican dirt road.
Have fun fellas, let's see what new ideas we can provide the writers with but remember, stick to the format.
